These are the cards from the card class this month.

Party Pinwheels

These pinwheels make excellent party favours. The ones in the picture are made from daffodil delight and tempting turquoise designer series paper.

I used lolly sticks, dressmaking pins and plastic beads to make the turning mechanism.

Paper Flower Arrangement

Just love these paper floweres in the in colours

I'm not much of a florist but I made this little arrangement using the in colours.

The little vase I picked up at Dunelm mill for £2.99 and I already had the glass pepples.

I used the flower daisies die and layered them up, then just stuck them to the stems, which I picked up at the craft shop. Easy.

Double tri-fold cascade card

This was my first attempt at a double tri-fold cascade card. That's a bit of a mouthful!

Happy Birthday Banner

I've been so lazy with my blog recently I still have some makes from Cameron's birthday that I haven't even posted yet.

Personalised Happy Birthday Banner

The banner was really fun to make using the Big Top Birthday designer series paper, some co-ordinating card stock real red, daffodil delight and old olive. The Letter it alphabet, 1-3/4 circle and scallop square punch. I hand cut the pennants and strung it all on some twine.

2 Weeks in Florida

I can't believe I've been so lazy about my blogging lately. I have actually been busy with a few projects and I just haven't put them on yet and now I'm off for 2 weeks to Florida, yeah!

When I get back I'll be able to update you all with my makes for the past few weeks.

Scrapbook page with paper flowers

I'm very pleased with this scrapbook page, there is quite a lot of work in it but I think it turned out well.

It's embellished with lots of different  paper flowers and ruffled up satin ribbon.

The flowers are all made from punched shapes which I've layered up to give depth, the flowers have also been layered upon one another for more depth and some ruffled up ribbon gives some texture. The vintage look was achieved using the stampin' up distress essentials kit both the files and the ink have been used.

Paper - Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper.
Punches - Fancy flower, 1-3/4 " Circle, Blossom Builder punch, Itty Bitty Shapes.
Cardstock - Marina Mist
Stamp Sets - Paisley Petals
Accessories - Old Olive Satin Ribbon, Pearl Jewels, Linen Thread. Sizzlets sweet buttons die.
Ink - Marina Mist, Distressing essentials Mahogany.

Birthday Party invitations

These are the invitations I've made for Cameron's birthday party.

He's not as impressed with the invitations as he was with the favors, think that's because the favours have sweets in.

Birthday Party Favors

These little treat pouches are filled with starburst sweeties and the rosette decoration has a pin on the back to make it a little badge.

They're for my little boys birthday. The cost was very low and they were very easy and quick to make.

I'm very pleased with how they turned out and I'm feeling rather clever.
